MOU SIGNING CEREMONY – MEDICAL EQUIPMENT DONATION CEREMONY 

AND SHARING EXPERIENCES IN DIGITAL HEALTH ON OCTOBER 26, 2023

 

With the aim of promoting international cooperation activities in the field of education and updating advanced medical technology solutions for hospital construction, operation, and development. On the morning of October 26, Buon Ma Thuot Medical University and Hospital solemnly organized a signing ceremony for cooperation with the Kaohsiung Medical University – College of Dental Medicine, Taiwan; Medical equipment gifting ceremony and sharing experiences in digital health 

In the international cooperation project between both parties, prior to May 15, 2023, representatives from Buon Ma Thuot Medical University and Hospital visited and carried out the signing ceremony for cooperation with Kaohsiung Medical University Chung Ho Memorial Hospital (KMUH), College of Dental Medicine, Taiwan about the exchange of lecturers, doctors, and clinical interns, as well as the updating of advanced technical solutions in the construction, operation, and development of hospital systems. Discussions also revolved around the implementation of cutting-edge treatment solutions for patients.

In attendance at the signing ceremony, representing Cao Hung University of Medicine (KMU), there was the presence of Professor Je Kang Du – School of Dentistry, College of Dental Medicine of Kaohsiung Medical University; Director of Department of Dentistry, KMUH; and Chairman of Academy of Perio-Prosthodontics Taiwan; Mr. Shih-Huai Martin Hsiao – Director, KMUH International Service Medical Center; Director of International Cooperation Division; Ms. Hui Yu Hsu, Leader of the Business, Education and Training Team, KMUH International Medical Service Center with department heads, coordinators, and founders at related units.

According to the agreement, both parties officially commit to promoting cooperation in the field of dental education. Specifically, they will collaborate in training, scientific research, technology transfer and community service. Moreover, these opportunities effectively support students to enhance and perceive essential knowledge, skills and competencies during the era of globalization of the healthcare system.

The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement concluded successfully in a solemn atmosphere, heralding a robust and enduring partnership between the two institutions.

Buon Ma Thuot Medical University and Hospital visited and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chung Ho Memorial Hospital – Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan in May 2023.

On behalf of BMTU and BUH – Specialist/Senior Doctor Võ Minh Thành highly appreciated  this cooperation, especially Director. Martin Hsiao from KMUH International Service Medical Center and Ms. Hui Yu Hsu-Leader of the Business, Education and Training Team, KMUH International Medical Service Center for the great contributions to the good cooperative relationship between the two institutions.

It has also been a fundamental hub in Taiwan for training clinical specialist physicians and related healthcare professionals. We highly appreciate the commitment to achieve top ranking of Medical University and leading hospital in the Central Highlands, Vietnam. This completely meets the mutual visions of KMU and KMUH.

At the end of the ceremony was the discussion session “Sharing experiences in Digital Health”, this is one of the contents of interest to doctors, lecturers and students, in order to update the application of digital technology-Artificial Intelligence in healthcare working.
